Abstract

This paper seeks to form a new theory of beauty by differentiating between the common Western view of beauty and analyzing several philosophical theories of beauty, including the aesthetic value theory of beauty and the evolutionary theory of aesthetics, and expanding on them. It also explores, beyond any conclusions drawn from the definition constructed, the importances of beauty in life.
