Abstract
The purpose of this research paper is to analyze how a society can be influenced, depending on the nature of the society at a given time, reflecting the degree to which eugenics is utilized. Through examining the history of eugenics, major events revealed certain aspects of society at the time and the the extent to which eugenics was put into practice. Research was centered on the American Eugenic Society, from its creation to the present day and future, allowing for a more thorough investigation of society in America over the years. This study reveals that although society fluctuates throughout the years, one thing remains constant, the desire for perfection in humanity, an innate desire that is presented through eugenics.
