A Comparative Analysis: Utilization of an E-textbook in a Developmental Reading Course

Abstract

This research employs a quantitative approach; utilizing a quasi-experimental pre-test, post-test design. An ENR 095 course was provided a traditional textbook while another ENR 095 course was provided tablets and downloaded e-textbook. Two-sample t-tests examine student achievement. Survey data examine students’ perceptions of learning and motivation.
