Abstract

This collection of short creative nonfiction pieces chronicles a mother/daughter relationship through trials in guilt, beauty, and responsibility. Through a variety of creative nonfiction forms (lyric, narrative, and list essays), this collection explores the psychology of scars, injuries, and plastic surgery through a firsthand account.
