The objective of our research is to study the chemistry of cyanomethanimine in Sagittarius B2(N) over the course of millions of years. Chemical reactions of cyanomethanimine and related species are entered into an existing reaction network. The physical parameters for the environment in Sgr B2 are input in the computer program. The abundance of cyanomethanimine as well as related species is computed through calculations involving differential rate equations. The results will allow astrochemists to consider pathways to larger, prebiotic molecules that could potentially be present in interstellar medium.
