Abstract
Bridezilla Descends Upon Tokyo and Other Strange Stories is a collection of dark slipstream fiction that blends elements of horror into literary fiction. Ghosts, zombies, babies with hinged jaws and shark teeth expose themes like identity, motherhood, and relationships that maintain a literary tradition of dedication to character over plot. This collection explores the inner demons that drive the characters' lives and how sometimes inner demons become outer demons.
