Abstract

Dr. Stephen Richter, an assistant professor in the Department of Biological Sciences, joined Eastern's faculty in 2005 after earning a Ph.D. in zoology from the University of Oklahoma. His research interests are ecology, conservation, and evolution of amphibians and reptiles; conservation biology; and wetland ecology. He had a 2010 publication in Herpetological Review about the midland mud salamander, and was awarded $383,000 with Biology colleague Dr. David Brown for their work with Kentucky wetlands.
