Abstract
Interest in therapeutic use of animals as an intervention and form of support for individuals with ASD is increasing. Questions still remain, however, about the use of animals to support mental health and quality of life. This session will share a study exploring a therapy dog's effect on social group enjoyment by children with ASD.
