Abstract
This presentation describes the implementation of a peer mentoring program on a college campus, with the impact of an individualized goal-setting program to help students develop the self-determination skills needed to succeed in the higher education and housing environment. Recruitment of participants occurred through referral. Weekly mentoring sessions were scheduled during the semester, and data were gathered from qualitative and quantitative measures. Outcomes addressing the effectiveness of incorporating occupational performance skills into the development and execution of the program will be shared.
