Abstract
The session was about successful collaborative efforts between Eastern Kentucky University Special Collections & Archives (SCA) and the Madison County Public Library. These include Research Days at the Library and the Jimmy Taylor Photographs Identification Project. On selected Research Days the public library transported researchers to Eastern so that community members could utilize our collections without the trouble of parking on campus. During the photograph identification project, the SCA uploaded photos taken by Jimmy Taylor into Flickr and community members met in the public library to view the photos and identify individuals that they knew. Also discussed were a collaborative grant project and other joint efforts.
