Abstract
This is an analysis of multiple science fiction films, including: 2001: A Space odyssey (Kubrick, 1968), the Matrix trilogy (Wachowskis, 1999-2003), The Terminator (Cameron, 1984), Terminator 2 (Cameron, 1996), Wall-E (Stanton, 2008), Blade Runner (Scott, 1982), A.I., Artificial Intelligence (Spielberg, 2001), Ex Machina (Garland, 2014), and I, Robot (Proyas, 2004). In this, it compares each film to discuss what overarching themes found in these films and how this reflects our views on technology and change, as well as includes artwork that seeks to visualize these themes.
