Abstract
American citizens old enough to remember the events of September 11th are able to recall incredible details about the day. The immense impact that 9/11 had on America is indisputable; it is often said that America as a whole was changed forever. Citizens of New York City were changed in a drastic way, but what were some changes in the lives of those who were watching the attack unfold on their televisions? This thesis aims to discover if and how the lives of individual people from the Greater Cincinnati area were impacted from the attacks on September 11th, 2001. A semi-structured interview was conducted with five participants. Responses were videotaped and edited into a comprehensive video to fulfill the requirements of a creative honors thesis.
