Abstract
We study the existence of solutions to the boundary value problem y''=h(t,y) satisfying the boundary conditions y(0) - y(1) =0 and cy'(0) + dy'(1) = 0. We use the shift method so that the problem is no longer at resonance. We also use the method of upper and lower solutions to obtain sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions to the boundary value problem.
