Abstract
Prior studies provide evidence for heightened timing abilities in musicians. Many studies have compared accuracy of musicians and non-musicians on time judgement and duration judgement tasks. In this study we have two groups of participants, 21 musicians and 46 non-musicians. Participants were presented with 24 trials. Three repeated measures ANOVA was performed to determine the difference and direction of the difference between the accuracy of the two groups. It was found that the musicians performed more accurately than the non-musicians on the time judgement tasks.
