Abstract
Hedonism claims that only pleasure has intrinsic value. Many philosophers contest hedonism by arguing that other things, in addition to pleasure, have intrinsic value. In this paper, I suggest that one could contest the more basic thesis that pleasure has intrinsic value. DOI 10.1007/s10790-009-9145-0
