Abstract
Cuteness is a physical attribute of babies that induces a favorable response in human adults. Certain features contribute to cuteness, and preferences are shown for these characteristics. This cute effect can be generalized to other species such as puppies. The current study examines the effect that head tilt has on a puppy’s cuteness. Head tilt can be easily manipulated because it is a trainable behavior. Participants of this study will control the degree of head tilt on a picture of a puppy in order to make it as cute as it can be.
