Abstract
Introduction:
Accessible tourism is something that has been around for a while. It is an endeavor to ensure that tourism is accessible to all people. This means people with disabilities, other physical limitations, or people whose age typically limits them from accessing certain areas. Accessible tourism seeks to get rid of the limitations and be sure everyone can enjoy the tourist destinations.
The literature review:
Yau, McKercher and Packer (2004) state that individuals with physical limitations have the same desires as far as tourism as anyone else does. Loi and Kong (2015) state that accessible tourism can help economic growth and prosperity. Richards, Pritchard and Morgan (2010) state, however, that this is a very under-researched area and that there must be more research conducted to determine what sort of tourism these individuals would enjoy.
The methodology:
The researcher will perform a qualitative study examining scholarly studies related to the problem to determine if individuals with disabilities have access to tourists locations
