Abstract

This paper will examine the acceptance of tattoos by comparing rives of American and Vietnamese individuals. Tattoos are common, and many people want to have tattoos to appear attractive or sexy. Others, however, view tattoos as indecent and/or immoral. Cultural differences may play into these varying viewpoints. Tattoos can be a form of art and have cultural significance for who have them. This research is designed to showcase varying viewpoints from two different groups about having tattoos.
