Abstract
There are many factors that can affect a child's behavior, especially when it comes to aggressive and violent behavior. My research question is "Does violent media affect children's behavioral health?" I searched and collected literature from PsychInfo for experiments that manipulated different sources of violent media and assessed behavioral outcomes. The Cohen's d effect size for each study was computed. Overall, the effect sizes were considered moderate to large, in the range between d = 0.70 to 1.00. It is concluded that violent media has a strong effect on children's behavioral health.
