Abstract
Stoichiometry is fundamental to any chemistry student. It is the mathematical ratios that describe chemical reaction and how much of a product a reaction can form. Unfortunately, this is often the first part of chemistry at which students begin to struggle. Part of the reason for this is that it is difficult to visually simulate this clearly for a large classroom. The solution proposed in the poster is to create a video using Legos to demonstrate chemical reactions in a way that is clear and can be shown in a large class room. Accompanying the video is a work sheet that will start with easier lego stoichiometry based questions and move to more difficult chemical questions. The outcome of this project is to help students develop a better understanding of stoichiometry.
