Abstract
In order to integrate information literacy into learning opportunities, EKU Libraries developed the Information Literacy Core Competencies Matrix. Using the matrix, we collaborated with history faculty on shared information literacy objectives in order to assess student products in an upper division course. The results of this assessment allow us to advocate for library instruction and one-on-one research appointments in this and other classes.
