Abstract

Research reveals discrimination's negative impact on university students. Yet, positive faculty relationships can counter these effects. This research explores how trust in faculty buffers discrimination's impact. Results show discrimination correlates with stress and diminished belonging but trust in faculty mitigates these effects, emphasizing faculty's role in fostering supportive campus environments.
