About JECTL
The Journal of Excellence in College Teaching and Learning (JECTL) is an open access, double-blind peer reviewed journal. The Journal was initially sponsored by the Faculty Development Workgroup/Council on Postsecondary Education and is published by the College of Education and Applied Human Sciences, Eastern Kentucky University.
General categories for articles include theory, research, and practice in college teaching. The JECTL targets the professional development of college and university faculty. Its primary goal is to enhance student learning by promoting excellence in teaching at higher education institutions within the Commonwealth of Kentucky, as well as by furthering national and international awareness of teaching and learning issues and best practices in higher education.
